Evan received the 2022 Anthem Silver Award for Young Leader of the Year and A Webby Nomination for his documentary short - Refugee Food Festival

Evan is the First Youth Ambassador for The Peace Studio, helping to engage youth globally in raising awareness about taking action for peace. Following his interests in languages and global culture, Evan began interviewing young people with the intention of bringing awareness to conflict, culture and cuisine in countries around the world. Evan has traveled internationally to meet indigenous people, highlight refugee chefs, and document youth perspectives from around the world.
